Tribal prints trend
Menswear fashion trends are perpetually renewing, this one has highly made its way since last summer. One can deny fashion is always about reclycling old stuff to get something illusory new. Here, authentic stuff is turned into a fresh trend: tribal prints are getting into our wabrobe.
Because authentic brands are on the crest since few seasons, lots of newer designers wished to collaborated with such brands, which identity as local konw-how is real. By this way they could mix both universes to get a tribal inspired range in their collection. Of course they could have done it themselves but co-branding adds credibility to release such a line. Vans, Levi’s did it, teaming up with Pendleton in 2010. Some others have just released pieces matching this inspiration.
Haute couture designers give fashion their orientation each year, inspiring ready-to-wear brands. Then it was certain we would highly find tribal prints, african as american native, in their SS12 mainlines. Incidentally, Balmain, Burberry Prorsum or Henrik Vibskov have some. To illustrate those words find few inspiring seasonal pictures showing how this trend is noticeable.
