Empire’s Union T-shirt

by Romano from Marseille in Selected (on September 2, 2010)

Topman has just released tees from a new brand : Empire’s Union. As their designs are very original, it’s been really hard to pick one above all. This one is called Tupello, and it’s finally my favourite one. This, because of the mixing of a human face and a star which is particularly well made. The only snag is the price which could appear expensive. But there’s a last thing you don’t know : the collection is all made in Europe.

Marc Jacobs Messenger Bag

by Romano from Marseille in Selected (on August 27, 2010)

THE messenger bag by Marc Jacobs. It looks awesome, isn’t it? Containing an adjustable shoulder strap as for carrying handles, all this stuff is brown coloured and it constats marvelously with it’s body. Of course it’s 100% leather.

Super x Wesc Sunglasses

by Romano from Marseille in Selected (on August 24, 2010)

These sunglasses are resulting a collab between Super, the Italian sunglasses brand, and Wesc, the Swedish streetwear brand. The first thing we can say is : w@w they’re f***ing amazing! The frames reminds a bit of a pair of aviators and the clear blue lens makes a really cool shade off. Another information about them, you can change the lenses your favourite way. Now look at the arms and you notice a gold Wesc logo on both of them which makes a really classy render. One last thing, theses sunnies are released as a very limited edition…

Ray Ban Wayfarer II

by Yas the Super Fly in Selected (on August 19, 2010)

Ray Ban on the spot again! The famous brand came up with a new two-tone update of the iconic Wayfarer sunglasses. The Wayfarer II has detailed features like a metal signature logo on each sculpted temple. The color combination is particularly enhancing the iconic contoured shape, and the grey faded (crystal) lenses keeps the unmistakable Wayfarer ahead of contemporary fashion! I personally have some aviators (will introduce them shortly), but I’m pleased to switch them with the Wayfarer II from time to time :p Let me know what you think!

Insight Denim Shirt

by Romano from Marseille in Selected (on August 18, 2010)

I was looking for myself a nice denim shirt which was not a Levi’s one and I came across this one. I confess that I did not expect such a beautiful one from Insight which isn’t told to make denims. Concede me guys that you’re surpised about it render… just great! Those hexagonal snap buttondowns and chest are making it really original. Ok… I think I’m gonna go for it right away :)

Sabre Vision Sunglasses

by Romano from Marseille in Selected (on August 1, 2010)

Those Sabre Vision “Heartbreaker” sunnies are really “doing their thing”. Strongly inspired by the Wayfarer, they offer a good alternative from a pair of Ray-Ban. Besides their price is affordable, they are literally breaking my heart :)

Surface to Air Jeans

by Romano from Marseille in Selected (on July 27, 2010)

Washed-out jeans has given up the ghost, so you have to find a pair of raw jeans by these times. They are totally in the trend this season as for the upcoming one. Do you know about Surface to air? It’s a french brand which style is strongly influenced by arts and music. They’re making very nice raw denims as you can see on the picture above. These ones’ cut is straigh fitted, and their price is reasonable.

Apliiq T-Shirt

by Romano from Marseille in Selected (on July 20, 2010)

Apliiq is a brand recently launched by American Apparel and based on the “do it yourself” concept (DIY). The materials are ethically concepted in LA (and not in China). Apliiq introduces a lot of limited editions in terms of design and material to keep a factual aspect from their products. They invest themselves into humanitarian projects to be distinguished as an ethical brand. Concerning the style of their products, they are really original as the DIY-anti-consumerism movement guarantees you a unique product. Even presets like this one are rare enough and original to look like particular and individual. I will definitely go for one! (I really like the hoodies)

It’s $32,40 (was $36) from Karmaloop
