Udy is an underwear brand established in the 50s in Spain. Ricardo Miguel Udi, its founder, began creating creating and selling underwear in Navarre (see here for more info).
Since then, the company has been based in Madrid, and the brand was renamed Udy Collection in the 90s. All their products are designed and manufactured in Spain!

My favorite: the Wonderman in blue (as you can see from these sunglasses, I’m really into blue at the moment). The contrasting white waistband and trim is almost a classic now! But it is nice.
They are made of cotton and elastane (really soft and comfy) and have a little pocket on the inside. If you’ve not seen one before: it boosts your assets, giving you a confident bulge! It’s a bit like a wonderbra for men

Here are 2 new brands that I haven’t mentioned for a long time: Pull-in and Stereo Panda. Here’s some news concerning both of them: they’re launching a co-branded line of underwear. You can see the unique elements of both brands in these styles available in cotton and lycra.
They’re available from the Pull-in concept stores in Paris, Hossegor, Aix en Provence and New York (see list of dealers). You’ll also find them in Stereo Panda partner stores like Citadium. They cost €35 for the black cotton style and €45 for the white lycra. -I’d like to see them close up to examine the quality though, as €35/45 seems a
little expensive…

Get the idea that Burberry is for chavs out of your head immediately. Yes! Across the globe, Burberry is a luxury brand, and these boxers use their classic brit check pattern with their logo on the waistband. So they aren’t pants at all! Slight problem: where to find them. They appear on the US site (which doesn’t deliver to the UK) but don’t appear on the UK site at all. Might be worth taking at look at their Manchester store on New Cathedral Street or in London on New Bond Street. Has anyone been to either recently? And if I get the chance, I’ll let you know!

Do you know the Carbonneau brothers?
They’re called Philippe and Olivier, and are former Toulouse and International rugby players.
Well, they’ve just launched their own brand of men’s underwear: carBO underwear! With 13 World-Cup-themed styles. With Damien Traille as their ‘face’ (photos by Eric-B Vaudon). The material: polyamide elasthane was chosen for it’s properties (softness, breathability, lightness, flexibility and support).

Here is an unexpected collaboration between Impetus, a Portuguese underwear brand and Raphaël Ibanez, the captain of the French rugby team. I say ‘unusual’ because he isn’t really the first player that springs to mind when you think of someone who would be the muse for an underwear brand! What do you think? Nonetheless, Impetus are launching seam-free cotton underwear in France, which it will apparently bring together softness and technology. Well worth checking out.

Given that we’ve not yet mentioned underwear since the beginning of the sales, I went looking for some nice boxers and I came across Sligo! So here it is: in black and green (a very nice green) from Energie, which might still be available in your size if you’re lucky

Did you like the stimulating Millesia boxers? Then you’ll love these new boxers with unexpected powers. These brown boxers (chocolate-coffee to be precise, cheque please!) are no ordinary item of underwear: They’re made of carbon fibres, 100 times more antistatic than cotton. Which makes them a perfect piece of “anti-stress” clothing, a great way to chill! So, you’ll not get worked up when a scantily-clad young lady breezes by or on a first date. You’ll stay calm. Oh yes. So you’ll be at ease no matter what situation arises (ahem). Isn’t that incredible? ;-))

What? You don’t know DT? Ok, I admit it, I hadn’t heard of them either until recently
DT is the latest Australian underwear brand (like Aussiebum, who I’ve mentioned to you few months ago). DT is bang on trend with a range of original underwear with bright, contrasting colours. DT’s signature: The “Eiffel Tower” shape on the front and the DT logo all around the waistband. Worth a try…

Do you need to get rid of some of your old pants? What about these ones? They are very ‘now’: They’re hipsters with a contrasting blue waistband and two stripes that make all the difference! They’re made of cotton and modal (and if anyone happens to know what modal is, I’d be delighted to know!).
