Empire’s Union T-shirt

by Romano from Marseille in Selected (on September 2, 2010)

Topman has just released tees from a new brand : Empire’s Union. As their designs are very original, it’s been really hard to pick one above all. This one is called Tupello, and it’s finally my favourite one. This, because of the mixing of a human face and a star which is particularly well made. The only snag is the price which could appear expensive. But there’s a last thing you don’t know : the collection is all made in Europe.

Dr Denim Jeans

Dr Denim, a Swedish jeansmaker, really makes good pieces. An example with these grey trousers, which look very nice. As every wardrobe has to contain a pair of grey jeans, you must complete yours. If you intend to do it, think about those jeans which quality is told to be good.

Grenson Boots

by Romano from Marseille in Selected (on September 1, 2010)

I nearly softened at seeing those desert boots from Grenson. 100% leather made, their tan/brown color mixed with this black binding makes them really original… and sober. I think we can call them a success! I was not a big fan of desert boots before seeing these ones. I am now…

Oliver Spencer Duffle Coat

by Romano from Marseille in Selected (on August 31, 2010)

my-Wardrobe website has released plenty of coats for the upcoming season. As it appears that duffle coats are gonna be in the trend, I’m introducing you this one from Oliver Spencer. I’ve never heard something wrong about them, then it must be a quality coat. A thing that’s not a supposition is the general appearance, which is absolutely amazing. Red check lining at the body and hood, brown leather squared details supporting some wooden toggles… I guess we’re almost reaching perfection now :)

G-Star Chinos

by Romano from Marseille in Selected (on August 30, 2010)

I’m Usually not a big fan of G-Sar as I confess checking their products rarely. I just came across these Chinos from them and they look particularly well cutted. The only thing we could criticize them about is the TOO visible logo tag from the back but don’t worry! Just check ASOS video, it’s perfectly hidden by a normal sized top. A last thing : we really like rolled up trousers ;)

Grey Cardigan

by Romano from Marseille in Selected (on August 27, 2010)

What a nice piece from this Danish brand named Humor. Their creativity is undeniable and you can see it in any piece of their collection, which is “happily” colored. This leads me to introduce you the cardigan you can see on the picture above. Just check the originality and the contrast created by those yellow buttons. To conclude, let’s talk about the price, quite reasonable if the quality is proven.

TST Sneakers

by Romano from Marseille in Selected (on August 25, 2010)

Remember this Japanese shoes brand I told you about in a previous article (entitled TST Trainers)? Just know that Yoox has release plenty of new colors and models. This one caught my attention because of its cap toe which is quite unusual for a pair of sneakers. While it still needs to be proved, the quality of the leather is looking good.

Universal Works Jacket

by Romano from Marseille in Selected (on August 23, 2010)

Check out this nice Zipped jacket recently released on Kiosk78 e-shop. We’ve already talked about Universal Works, remember the article about their original waistcoat? This piece is also very original. You can notice the navy chest pocket wich is unusual for this type of product. Then add a vintage touch with those elbow patches, and you’ve got a very nice and original jacket for mid season times (50% coton, 50% polyester)

YMC Desert Boots

by Romano from Marseille in Selected (on August 20, 2010)

Looking for a pair of boots for the upcoming season? Here are some nice desert boots from YMC. They are made of a brown colored suede material which seems ideal for the mid season as for the winter. Apparently they’re combining the comfort of a grogue and the style of a desert boot. As YMC is a safe bet, they certainly worth their price, don’t worry about it.
