Rogue Territory is a Californian jeansmaker which creates quality denim pieces caring not only about materials but also about construction. We can highly consider them as a typical 20th century clothing company ran by passionate people about denim, workwear and fashion. Handcrafting skills always drive to one of-a-kind pieces, that’s their spearhead! Adding all this a great involvement into supporting authentic local artisans definitely allow us to call them a modern company.

Regarding those jeans, they’re slim/straight fitted. As we can expect from them, materials used for this “Stanton” model are the highest possible quality. The jeans are made of a 14 oz Sanforized Japanese Denim coming from the famous Nihon Menpu mills in Okayama, Japan. Just so you know, this magnifiscent piece is resulting a 4 to 6 weeks process. As a witness, a page of their website is dedicated to the story of denim in Japan. Such a brand must make quality products. Proof with this pair of jeans. They’re “Super slim” fitted and made of a 13oz denim. Actually, they don’t look slim that much. Yet follow the advise of the shop sizing them up (albeit they’ll become larger as any raw denim).

As you may know, we’re always looking for superior quality jeans. I recently came across this American brand called Jean Shop -quite a generic name, but why not? Originaly, Jean Shop is a New Yorkese store specialized in jeans, over the year they have come to sell their own creations. They only use exclusive Japanese selvedge denim fabrics and produce all by hand in their workshop in the USA. Jeans Shop is part of this neo-denim authentism movement, those recent brands loving to tell stories about their products in search for quality and great cuts above all. Their fit, plus the raw selvege, plus their very-orange stichings are making these jeans shine like no other. But no worry, all will fade greatly after a few weeks wearing them. Want to hear about some nice raw jeans? Check out those ones from APC, they are definitely my favourite ones. If I had to pick a pair above all jeans brands, I’d really choose this one my eyes closed. Proud owner of ones, I can say that they’re really rigid and that you have multiple methods to keep the raw selvedge in good conditions. Low rised, the fit is just perfect.
