Junk Jeans Modomac

Regular visitors have probably heard of this Danish brand: Junk de Luxe. Its another in the wave of Scandinavian designers along with other brands like Acne Jeans, Cheap Monday, Dr Denim, Nudie and WeSC. I mentioned it for the first time in an article about a shirt (I bought that particular style at the time, it’s great, and hasn’t shrunk! Tried and tested :D)

And fresh in this season (I kinda gave the game away in the editorial for this special): we can now wear Junk de Luxe jeans! They’re fresh in, I saw the first styles arrive at Le 66 in mid January. And I’ve just seen their pictures. This one’s the “Modomac”, which are waxed jeans (yes, there are more!) in a straight/skinny cut.

You get the “Junk” quality you’d expect, with a price tag of €100, which isn’t actually all that bad for a pair of jeans. They go straight into my Top 3 waxed jeans.

Exclusive to:

  • Le 66
  • Printemps de l’Homme
  • Junk Jeans Modomac

    Hats off!

Or maybe schapskas on? To keep yourself warm, you need to keep your head covered! As you probably know: you lose a lot off heat through this part of the body. And this winter, if you want to get a head, get a schapska! It’s been on the catwalks quite a bit (in the latest fashion shows), comes from the north, and has some pretty darn practical fur lining and ear flaps.

But where can you find them?

During my last few shopping trips I came across this brand that Raider mentioned on the French-language forum: Junk De Luxe. You can see for yourself that all the good things people say about this brand are true by visiting their site. In particular about their unusual multi-pocket shirts, which are relatively inexpensive. There are a few on ASOS. And you lucky Parisians can pop into “Et Vous” or le Printemps to buy them. See the Paris Shopping Directory for more details ;)
