Bleu de Paname Polo de Plage

As a French southerner I can’t stay insensitive to anything reminding me of the sea. Parisian brand Bleu de Paname has just uploaded on their facebook page three beachy T-shirts from their SS12 collection “Littoral” literally meaning coastal.

Combining the spirit of workwear with the sailor style, these t-shirts are the translation of having a break after work. Perfectly suitable for a windy day sailing under the sun, it’s almost like they were made out of sand, salty see, and the Mistral wind. I think we can all agree on Bleu de Paname’s distinctive craftsmanship regarding any clothes they choose to revisit.

These t-shirts all feature a round colar and fitting ribbed sleeves. Three colors are available at the moment grey, blue and navy.

For the moment BDP’s polo the plage isn’t available on shops, but you can find the t-shirt de plage at NoVoid Plus for €65

Nudie striped polo shirt

Such a cool polo like the one above comes from Nudie. The jeaner’s stamp comes inevitably with the use of an indigo color, rendering great in vertical stripes. On the contrary of what one could think, this does not look like a basic golf polo, but really like a short sleeved shirt. Visible stichings, button down collar are adding some charm to this polo shirt which I’d rather wear on summer chilling days (maybe this would even be cool under a cardigan).

WESC side! WESC (We are the Superlative Conspiracy) or WE is a Swedish brand, established in 1999. Inspired by the skating and streetwear scenes, it made a name for itself by sponsoring certain underground Swedish artists and musicians. I’ll spare you the names as I suppose, like myself, you don’t know much about Swedish artists and musicians, especially underground ones… (And no, Abba don’t count!). Anyway, they make polo shirts, including this one, which I think is pretty smart. Black coffee colour please! (No sugar, thanks…)
