It has been a long time now that I am lurking on this pair of Android Homme, actually since their were released in September. What I like the most on these Propulsion 2.5 is the use of a tan color mixed with darker yokes. Those latter; the classic Android Homme reverse triangle on the tongue and a synthetic coton trim on the heel, are giving the shoes an extraterrestrial look although its shape remains quite classic. In other words, my dreams will stay unfulfilled for the moment… some sizes (mine included) ran out of stock few days ago, hope you will have more chance!

I just came across this Obey t-shirt with a cool graphic. Totally in phase with the brand’s identity, it refers to the 1989 Berlin Wall’s fall, tallying with the communism end of propaganda widely used at that time. The terms used in the tee are quite violent, and so the Fall was. Did André the Giant, flocked on the communist star, take part in all this story? Let me have a doubt on this… :p

When your friend come at the apéritif hour with a brand new pair of sneakers, what a windfall to carry your camera in your bag around-the-clock. His Creative Recreation “Cesario” gently posed for taking few pics. The shoes render very nicely with tastefully chosen colors : tan body, white contrasting laces, stichings and sole, and some cool gold details like the eyelets or the brand logo from the back. I confess usually not being fan of those big velcro fasteners, that did not bother me at all here. On the contrary, it’s giving them some more style. I mean, you don’t need to put an ankle strap to make your shoes originals. That’s what I like from the Apollo! The shoe has a basic shape and it is bicolored which is the only excentricity.

I usually dislike Creative Recreation sneakers. I find those ones something special for once. There’s much to say about them, like their boat shoes design topped by a tartan ankle part. There’s a zip spliting the shoes in two parts (then the ankle one is removable). The colors aren’t so bad chosen, which make me think they’re wearable. Some of you might find them “overdetailled”, but it would probably rock with a sober outfit.
