Looking for a nice knitted tie I recently came across Mitchell Roberts, a little-known American brand specialised in slik ties. I have found what I was looking for: this striped knitted tie with a squared edge. It has nice colors mixing blue and grey stripe with a burgundy edge. The fabric is really soft, and the finish is flawless. I really wanted a contemporary, knitted, slim tie to wear with a casual outfit. In my case, I like matching it with a light blue shirt, raw jeans and tan Oxford shoes. This one has a decent price, even more on sales. Tested and approved!

Though the Destroyer jacket has never been featured around here, it has been a long time now that we are keeping a eye on it. This varsity might be the craziest clothing piece released by Nike these last years. Since 2009 they kept revisiting it according to many collaborations or just to their own inspiration. Among all the Destroyer’s versions, this one from spring-summer 2012 is undoubtedly one of the best. Like any classic of its kind, the Destroyer varsity features a woolen body mixed with leather sleeves, and, on top of that striped cuff and hem. What especially caught our attention here is the color palette… just perfectly chosen! Do not look at it too closely, the jacket sting the eye.

I had never considered getting any sweatpants until I came across those from Moncler. I thought they were only made for sports activities, but now everything has just become clearer : French flag tricolor drawstring, single back pocket and little cool details like the thighs buttons. I’ve been hanging around Liberty some days ago. I wish I will spend my summer holidays in a quite sunny place, so I obviously needed something to cover my head and protect me from sunstrokes during a nap or when reading a book. And you could re-use it easily thanks to its classical, neutral design. You know what? I might have been appealed only by the feather!

Cro’ Jack is a British brand which background is intimately related to Navy. The brand is made up of patriotism, authenticity, a strong concept and a certain care for a decent trade. Such values can help us understand why they’re holding their own factory in England. I’m just finding out about some of their pieces like this shirt…, looking great! Doesn’t it? A long sleeved shirt whith two original chest pockets. It also has a lot of appealing trims and stiching details. What we like more from the shirt is the contrast created by the use of some white buttons, and agains, those unusual pockets. An needless to say that it’s crafted in the UK…

Naked & Famous denims really are at the top. Each season they keep surprising us with new innovations in terms of denim fabric, materials and washing with their classic cuts.
