For some reasons I have the strong feeling that black leather is going to be more and more popular among haute-couture brands this year; starting with the new Jil Sanders AW12 collection for instance. Okay, although I have to admit that people completely dressed in leather freak me out, the leather jacket is the single piece of clothes I can see myself with. Why?

Because, I’m in my mid twenties, and I’ve just started to provide for myself. So I think It’s the right moment for me to get one as a manifest of my independance. I’m seeking one that is fit, tight, thin and casual. One that makes me look good without looking like some Hells Angels motorbiker.

I’ve just found those very particular denim shorts at Garment Quarter. They come from the brand Unconditional which is a British designer hafway between casual wear and luxury. Multiple zipped pockets are giving the piece a nasty look. Cut-off legs reinforce this impression. The only thing we could dislike is a too loud tag from the back pocket, but no one can stop you from removing it. Those are just prefect for the summer… to be absotulely worn with a plain white t-shirt ;)

I Absolutely love those Oxfords from the french label Surface to Air. Here, different materials, though it reminds us of some autumn/winter shoes (because of the black suede part), are well mixed. Despite this, it gives the shoes something very elegant. Aside from that, the shoes have classic feature from Oxfords with a leather sole and some leather laces. From now on, I can already imagine my feets in those shoes, fancy dressed for a summer cocktail :>

I’ve always dreamt of buying a coated jacket, hence this post. I just came across this one from Nudie for the nonce. What’s likable about it? Firstly the cut, which is halfway between workwear and a trucker jacket. Secondly, the jacket is black coated denim made, and it’ll fade to indigo over time. Well, if I may say, not a random coated jacket! I’m just having doubts about how to match it… any suggestion?
