Ben Sherman Union Jack Bag

by Yas the Super Fly in Selected (on August 2, 2010)

I spotted a nice bag from the new collection of Ben Sherman. The bag is actually from a long line of bag called Union Jack. Each year, the brand is innovating to come up with a new model. This year, the Union Jack is more British than ever! It is made of a perforated PVC, layered by the United Kingdom flag. It also features a shoulder strap and several interior zip compartments. The shape of the bag is also very simple with no pockets on the outside. Very well made!

Ben Sherman Polo

by Yas the Super Fly in Selected (on June 29, 2010)

I guess you all noticed the sales that are going on these last days. Some of you chose to run into the Oxford Street jungle, others (the lazy ones :) preferred to shop online. I personally do both and just bought some good items like this regular cut polo from BenSherman. Stamped by the plectrum logo, it features short sleeves, and horizontal color stripes. I particularly like the contrast with the brown neck :)

And if you spend more than £90 you get a free vintage style leather football. Rush!

Ben Sherman Shirt

by Yas the Super Fly in Selected (on June 12, 2010)

Ben Sherman is used to design very original clothes with a “trend conscious guy-about-town” in mind. Among the new collection, the brand is having a very good shirt with long sleeves and contrast placket. The Suspect shirt has a SOHO fit cut that is super slim for a lean silhouette. You don’t even need a tie with this shirt just a nice suite for work or a sharp blazer for clubs ;) It would also match with the Oxford style shoes and the waxed denim.

Ben Sherman Polo Shirt

I found that nice polo shirt from Ben Sherman. It has short sleeves and features the famous plectrum logo. I particularly like this polo for its contrast side colour panels. It is very stylish and would perfectly go along with some shorts and flip-flops. A great outfit for this summer! For the shorts, you can read Joe’s posting below. If you want to be smart with this Polo, choose a white or marine short – but no layers ;)

Ben Sherman Goldhawk Zip Top

by Yas the Super Fly in Selected (on March 29, 2010)

ben-sherman-zip

I found a very nice jacket from Ben Sherman for this spring. Perfect for those sunny but freshen days :)

Called Goldhawk, this zip top is made of polyester, featuring a funnel neck and two zipped pockets – pretty simple but very stylish. The jacket is available in bright blue and black. The blue one is more sportive than the black top though (more classic). Both have a white zipper, stamped with the famous shield on the chest.

The jacket also features two pockets in the inside, but please don’t fill them all! It is not because you have pockets that you must load them and look like a “sac à patates.” So nothing in your jacket – put your keys, wallet, and phone in your bag ;)

Ben Sherman Cornell Flight Bag

by Yas the Super Fly in Selected (on February 2, 2010)

Hey Folks! After the successful “Union Jack” and “Plectrum Street,” Ben Sherman came up with a new fashionable messenger bag. It features a detachable strap, two separate compartments with small pockets for your mobile, pens, or credit cards. You can also fit a (small) laptop.

ben-sherman-cornell

Unlike its predecessors, the “Cornell Flight” is detailed by a perforated front side and stamped by a discreet logo. Both sober and trendy, it would perfectly fit with a business suit or a more casual outfit. It is actually one of the rare bags that would make everyone happy)

The Cornell is priced at £50 which is still reasonable. However, it is (for the moment) exclusively sold on Ben Sherman’s website, and only available in the UK and Ireland.
