Super Offshore Cicio

Super just released their Offshore collection, which they define as “a natural evolution of the Panama collection”. This time their research lead them to some further discoveries in materials and design. Even if Super introduces full metal frames for its first time, what especially caught my eye among all of their new sunglasses are these new versions of the “Classic” and “Cicio” models (I am quite a big fan of any kind of Wayfarer shape).

The shape has not changed at all for both models, but Super keeps reinterpreting the tortoise pattern at will, mixing it with acetate. The “Ciccio” comes in a “burnt havana” version, looking like the frames are on fire! I think this does really suits such a shape. The “Classic” has a thiner shape in essence, it should have been dressed in something more sober. Then we’ve got a nice tortoise with bluish highlights. Ok, I think I have found my SS12 sunglasses!
