Streetwear isn’t a word ringing harmoniously to fashion purists’ ears. But it is a fact, creativity comes from the street. Podiums have an influence, that is true, but many times I wished I had Scott Shuman’s talent shooting fellows, striding the macadam along. Some boys just concerned about their style, always getting C’s or D’s at school. This outfit is sort of a tribute to this street culture and to my teenage years, many hours spent in the bus to go downtown checking at new collections, then making my parents’ head spinning for sneakers, jeans… “C’mon, pleaaaaasssssseeeeeeee! I swear this coat will last at least two years!”
A Nike Varsity, picturing US football (around here), and old school Levi’s shirt, the inspirations straighly coming from the 90′s. As for the trousers, I bet on comfort with a carrot cut from Bleu de Paname perfectly matching those suede Bagua sneakers.
“Got a ticket? Don’t give a damn let’s get on the bus!”
