Red Wing Chukka Boots

Handsome chukka boots from Red Wing. Their red color are making them either smart or vintage. I would still recommend a casual use : match them with some raw jeans, chinos, or wool grey trousers. A question remains : are they really worth their price? I mean, for the same price you could have some opening ceremony which have at least a leather sole.
