Montblanc Legend

At the start of February, Montblanc has presented its new scent for male : Legend. The bottle is highly inspired by their famous “Meisterstück” (a pen) with its rounded and heavy shape. A glass and metal fabric is allowing us to talk about a timeless and virile design. The only mark we’ve got here is the Montblanc star. Then, the render is minimalistic and inspires luxury. The substance is a subtle mix between strength and softness, between tradition and innovation. From the top notes, this very light fragrance is made of bergamot, lavender, pineapple plant and litsea cubeba (exotic verbena). Heart notes are particularily imbued with oakmoss. Base notes are impregnate of Tonka Beans and sandalwood, which are typical scents for male. The perfume may appear a bit unadventurous, to much sober. But I confess being sensible to the brand’s environment and history.
