I broke my umbrella! It was mad: the fabric broke from the stem and I found myself holding just the handle. At this point, the top of the umbrella was 3 metres in the air, spinning like a frisbee. -Gogo gadget brolly! People for 10 metres around ran in panic.

In the end, no-one was hurt, but I don’t have an umbrella anymore. And given how much I got soaked yesterday, I thought it might be time to get another! My research led me to Mr Porter where I found a wide range of umbrellas

One last striking model from these times is this YMC x London Undercover collaboration. When British fashion meets the most traditional British Umbrella Maker, the result couldn’t have been bad. Their shared item sports a magnifiscent ethnic navajo inspired print mounted on a Maple wood handle. It is a quite hipster item: quirky, unusual, there’s no adjectives, but sure thing is that if you care for owning original item, this on will suit you well. Otherwise, London Undercover’s website may worth a peep as they probably make the best umbrellas on the market, whether you look for some classic or quirky designs.
