Meatpacking and the High Line, NYC
Arriving in New York has been filmed, photographed, told by the greatest authors so many times. Each visitor of the Big Apple for the first time will keep it as a major event in his life. Well, past cultural events have given this moment a fully fantastic dimension. The Hudson riverside getting closer and closer, towers rising, the skyline revealing itself, all that makes you shivering. This moment when fanstasm of a City becomes reality, when you reach Broadway through Brooklyn bridge, when the boat reaches the platform where so many people from all around the world have come to live the American Dream. In a nutshell, something you’ll remember your whole life. We sort of fulfilled a dream showing up around Meatpacking district docks. We walked along the quays, North direction, to get to the High Line, this raised park built on a disused Lower East Side elevated railway portion. For such a magnificent arrival in New York, I needed a decently big bag to carry a whole life story, a sober and elegant outfit to conquer that starting new life in New York and bite this juicy Big Apple to the full.
