Libertine Libertine Totem Jacket
This jacket is part of the autumn-winter 2011 collection of Libertine-Libertine one of our favourite Danish brand. It looks like the brand has never been presented here, let’s do it! Libertine-Libertine was launched in Copenhagen by Rasmus Bak, Pernille Schwarz and Peter Munch Ovesen. Since the beginning in summer 2009, they have been motivated by creating a brand which sets apart each human being from the other so he could feel unique. Then, they strive to design classic pieces updating cuts and fabrics. Inspired by cities as well as wilder horizons, highly influenced by contemporary clothing, Libertine Libertine clothes are quite simple but always have inventive details.
The AW11 Totem jacket is a great example of how quirky Libertine Libertine could be. It is cut like a varsity with three pockets. Very fitted and light, the Totem will keep you warm with a 70% wool construction. Of course, you won’t wear it in a formal outfit. But what an outstanding piece specially made for those who will dare wearing it! (Will you?) How cool is this? The brand has also created the matching backpack with the same fabric and the same pattern, even more quirky!
