Fidelity Sportswear was created in 1941 in Boston. At that time Edward Webber who had shares in the brand, often took his two children Gerald and Stewart to the factory. In was then, in the late 1960s, that they learned the whole manufacturing process of the coats, so they could take the business over later (they’re still at the head). Today, Fidelity’s factory still is in Boston, the same since around 30 years. Hands-on sons are really concerned and source materials themselves – the rawest possible. So the melton wool used for their products come from the best producers of the World such as Woolrich and Victor Woolen Mills in North America. Many rumors say that Fidelity would have provided coats for the U.S. Army over the years, to be confirmed…
