East Dust Denim Jacket

East Dust is a Belgian brand ran by motorcycle and denim enthusiasts. Besides hanging about vintage motorcycle shows, Keith and Rob, the two founders, also have a strong denim experience, having worked for many leading brands. From their garage sourrounded by choppers they also make Japanese selvedge jeans. This quote sums up their philosophy well:

A brand fueled by Friendship and mutual interest. We are not into making fashion this is about proper garments and good design that will stand the test of time.

In the Garbstore’s aisles can be found their limited Heavy Duty worker denim jacket (60ex). It is made in 131/4oz double ring Japanese indigo blue selvage denim. 100% wool lining comes from a Belgian army dead stock, corduroy collar has a nice navy contrasting color. The jacket also features three front flats pockets with the Z-Bar stitched signature (I guess this is what they call it), and stamp copper buttons. The rendering is just awesome, and so the construction is. This might be a jacket you will keep for years, but you will have to give your motorcycle license number at checkout.
