I have the pleasure and honour of presenting you the new French Truckers team (straight off the back of the lorry). As of this week, we’ve some new truckers:

• “Streetwise” Jay, “street” fashion and culture correspondant
• Junior “the conker”, our youngest friend, “college trend” correspondant
• Vassilli our “Big Brother”, special envoy, who will regularly report on the forum’s hot topics
• “His Lordship” Pierre, our fashion correspondant, our Mr. Trendy
• Harry “the Albatros”, who will offer a global fashion perspective

We hope you will enjoy this new wave of fresh talent, and that we can travel far together! And, just to remind you of our existing colleagues:

• Spike “the seduction coach”, back soon with a set of questions and answers
• Dédé “the fixer”, who’ll keep us up to date with the things he finds
• Tony “the cement truck”, also back this week
• Nina “the hitchhiker”, who’ll be offering us some new spring articles

and, of course, you can always count on me to offer you new subjects! And the door is always open to new contributions… Good luck, welcome on board, let’s kick things off!

Did you like 2007? You’re gonna love 2008 ! A year with more articles, more addresses, more practical tips, more interviews and more surprises… 2007 and more! (even more crappy jokes?)

To begin the new year, we wish you all a happy New Year! I will not repeat my advice from last year about taking your destiny in your own hands (from the French site), but it still stands. So make this year your own. You’re a star, not a spectator!

And we’ll start again tomorrow with a retrospective of men’s fashion 2007 before starting with next week’s big news story: the sales! Because as you doubtless know, the sales start next Wednesday!

In the mean time, there is a brand new French forum, that Huggy put into place over the holidays (big job, what a mechanic!). There are a few improvements to be made to the design (that’s my job, I won’t forget!)

On the roooooooad again…

I hope you enjoyed your summer holidays and you’re ready to get back to school. French Truckers has been hit by its fair share of drama over the summer holidays, including a total computer breakdown (schoolboy error), but we’ve now got our gym kit packed and our pencils sharpened Looking at our timetable, this term is going to be very busy. I hope you’ve got your bag packed too, but don’t worry if you haven’t, as we’re kicking off the new term with articles dedicated to exactly that. We have two weeks of articles dedicated for the first week to men’s bags, and then Fashion and Rugby. And should you have any suggestions relating to any of those themes, why not let us know? And at the weekend, Saturday is seduction day, with Spike’s advice back for 2007/2008, and the continuation of the Pin-up 2007 competition. And Sunday: health/beauty/wellbeing day, with new tests, Nina will be back, and we will see a new writer (a real sportsman!). So that’s September. We still have a few surprises up our sleeve, and we wish you a great start to the new year! Go go go! We’re on the road again…
