Arc de Triompf, Barcelona
It is not necessary visiting the most beautiful avenue in the World to find a triumphal arch, Bacelona has one as well, in the middle of la Ribera quarter, at the end of passeig de Lluis Companys. It is during one of our multiples walks in the city that we decided to stop at the Arc de Triomf metro station, in a purely random way. Once outside, we couldn’t miss this long sunny avenue surrounded by palm trees. Tourists as locals were walking, old men were carelessly playing cards in the shade of their parasol, new couples were flirting on the palm trees-shaded lawns. An old singer could have been inspired to write a new song. It was written, we should have shooted a series in this area once. In a flash, Romano drew his camera and we were up for a new tourist play. I couldn’t put a “style” category on this look, as influences are diverse here. The Egyptian cotton varsity goes for the “College” spirit as the rest mixes prints and cleaner pieces. Let’s now have a break under the sun, just for a shooting moment.
